As you may know, I’m a big believer in article marketing.
When I first became a member of the Directory of Ezines I could barely afford the membership fee, which was $40 back then.
I couldn’t buy advertising but I needed to drive traffic to the sites I was promoting.
I was selling my copywriting services back then, so I was driving traffic directly to a sales page. Sadly, I was not building my list at the time.
I was far too green in those days to even know what a squeeze page was, much less the value of listing building. We all start somewhere, right?
I turned to article marketing for my answer.
The results?
Fast forward to today and you can see by my blog that I still do article marketing every week.
But the reality today is different than it was when I started out. Today Google rolls out updates that penalize duplicate content (they used to reward it) and so submitting the same article to many places is not as effective.
So I am completely reworking my Article Marketing Live course in order to teach what has always worked as well as what’s working now.
