I’ve got to get an education about Ezines and why they seem to work so well to promote sites. Apparently this seems to be the place:-) I’m looking forward to coming on board.
I am new to Internet Marketing and Ezines. Look like a great place to invest after I get a handle on all the information I have received in the the last week. I am working on my Marketing Budget and Plan. Hopefully I can fit this in.

There are many Ezine directories,most of them are free.I realize that not all of them will be updated,but I can correct that by subscribing to a few within my niche.Other than saving time
why would anyone spend nearly $200 on yours?
Interesting question. The value we provide members goes well beyond a list of ezines. Anyone can create a list of ezines. I would say the #1 value we bring is that we work with members (and I mean I work with members personally) to help them succeed with ezines. Beyond saving time, and saving money, there is a level of support and help unmatched on any free directory or on most paid marketing sites. Ask around and I believe you will find this to be true.
Most of the posts are great, but there is a theme. Most of us have been “burnt” and have spent a lot of money. I believe you to be sincere. I at my wits end when I watch people in MLM make money and I’m still twiddling my thumbs after 20 years. I assume this will work with Network Marketing too. Also, I read that with these ezines if you write an article for them you can put your link at the of the post and get it for free. If not I could not afford the solo adds adds at present. You do have a 60 day money guarantee. correct?

Ezine advertising works if you learn how to do it right and do it consistently. It is not a magic button as they do not exist. Ezine advertising works very well for MLM.

I’m a new member of DOE and so far I love it. I’ve selected a couple of good clickbank products and I’m shopping around for a publisher for my first solo ad. There’s so much information in the members area that I can’t imagine how long it will take to review it all, but I plan on going through everything as I get the time. Even if you haven’t invited me to join Ezine, one dat I’d barge in. Everybody says – go to Ezine – submit you article to Eziine.Although I’m less than a beginner and my website is still in white. After going through many fous and fair now I’m attending Nich Profit Classroom with Adam Short – It seems like a good place to learn. Even Adam has recommended Ezine.

I don’t doubt that you would be a great asset to have an association with. I am going to have to raise you up on my list, for things to get done or join. Funds are a little tight presently, but I will make it happen, sooner than later. I have been reading everything you have sent, and I like the clarity of everything you teach, or speak on. Presently I am looking for something I can promote, or be a part of that would be helpful to many of the hurting people out in the world today. Maybe I am looking for something that I won’t ever find. Recently I just got out of something that I just couldn’t promote, half truth/mostly promises.

I know $197 can be a lot of money – I really do understand that. We do a lot for customers which is why we charge what we do. We have not raised prices in many years in order to help as many as we can become members.
As to me being real — if you have any doubts about any person online then my advice is to check them out and consume as much of their free information as you can and watch them over time. Patterns will emerge that will tell you all you need to know.

I can’t tell you how refreshing it is to have found you. I’ve been trying to get this IM thing down for over a year now. I’ve spent nearly $6000 in the past 14 months and have made around $300 doing it. Bought a number of programs and products, joined coaching clubs at anywhere from $29 to $99 a month and have never seen results. You join and the get access to a lame members area with no clear cut plan of action. Left to sift through hundreds of hours of videos and left with your head spinning.
If I join your DOE program will I really have the opportunity to speak with you live? If so, I’m in….. in a big way!

Charlie, you come across as being a very sincere, honest and credible individual. I read and follow your emails and I do plan to become a member, but in all honesty I am in a quandary about article marketing. And yes, I have written about 10 of them in ezine articles and squidoo & perhaps one or two others. Here is my dilemma. I have never gone to an article marketing site for information about anything. Why would anyone? If I need info on something I simply do a google search and pick what appeals to me in the results. I believe once something caught my eye that was in an article site but only because it was a competitor and I was curious. I find it really difficult to believe that people actually go to article sites to look for information pertinent to their issue. Article sites, IMHO, are like a compendium of those editorial types of ads in newspapers where it is specifically tagged as “this is an advertisement”. Except in AM every submitter is an “expert” who is doing nothing but promoting a product, regardless of how good the content is. I’d really like to get over this attitude I have and stop looking at AM with a jaundiced eye, but the truth is I have never earned a penny from any article I have written and until I change my attitude I probably never will. I’m anticipating that your professionalism in this field will have that effect on me and I will continue to absorb what I can from your excellent teachings.

I agree that your attitude needs to change. Maintaining a positive attitude and seeing why things *can* work is very important when working online.
What you are missing in your thinking is the link between search engines and article marketing. When you Google for something and need more information many of the links Google displays will in fact be for articles about the subject. Do this. Go to Google and type in “how to write an article” with or without the quotes. Many of the results you will see will in fact be articles people wrote about the subject. These articles might appear on their own sites or on article directories or both.
I agree with you that most people do not go to an article directory to read articles or search. But please give some thought to the link between search engine results and articles you write, because that connection is very real and can be very profitable.

I would encourage you to not look for one missing link. There are basic strategies of marketing online that work. Do them well and you will succeed. I always suggest mastering what is proven before experimenting with unproven methods.

I believe I have what it takes to be a huge success on the internet, and have quite a number of poducts made out, but it seems everything is so overwhelming…so much to learn, everyone out there attempting to sell something! Social media and article marketing are valid free ways to promote. Most other free methods will waste your time. Ultimately you need to buy advertising to get quick traffic and then earn more traffic with high quality content.

well charlie I am about to take the big leap of faith into the world of ezines
I know absolutely nothing about this way of marketing but reading some of these testimonials and learning a little more about you really inspired me to take the chance.
I am probally like alot of other people on here in which I have tried and attempted multiple ways of marketing online and the end result was always spinning my wheels and spending money on a bunch of hype and not to mention our most precious gift, “time”.

No offense, but there are too many Internet bandits pushing product and process that they make sound wonderful but then fall well short of their claims. As I told you in my email, I feel like a blind man with a white cane. As a beginner in this field, I drained my resources and now, I perform a “strategic retreat” in the attempt to gather “my troops’.
Your books are a valueable source of information for me and I wish I had them before I went into the “loophall” but never mind, never is late.

Not to be nosy but do you have some kind of trick or info to make my clickbank adds work. I’m in the same boat.
There is really no “trick”. The key is to have good ad copy, promote a hot product and choose your ad sources wisely. All of that can be done in the Directory of Ezines.
