Have you ever wondered how you can sell more with a mini course. It’s an important question, and one worth answering.
The good news is this … almost ANYONE can sell more with a mini course!
That’s because mini courses work in any niche, for promoting any product, and are very easy to create.
Let’s face it, writing a 5000-word long sales letters, creating professional videos and doing webinars is just too hard for most people!
But not so a mini course!
You want to sell more, right? I do.
First, what is a Mini Course?
A mini course is a short course focused on one specific topic and let me tell you, it’s a wonderful way to sell things without being all “salesy” about it.
It’s often delivered via email and it can be fully automated.

Who can sell more with a Mini Course?
Here are a small group of people who can sell more with a mini course.
I’m going to share some details about each one.
- Affiliate marketers
- Product owners
- Coaches and consultants
I am all four of those things, and use mini courses for each purpose.
How can affiliates sell more with a Mini Course?
You do one Mini Course per product that you want to promote.
That’s the name of the game.
You want a little Mini Course that talks about the product in great detail, but it doesn’t just talk about, “Here’s how great this product is.”
It talks about what’s in it for the buyer.
You want to build your list using a Mini Course and in a few minutes, I’m going to show you my opt-in rate for my Mini-Course.

You can also cross-sell complementary products inside your Mini Course if you’re doing affiliate marketing.
What about product owners?
What about people who own their own product? Perhaps they have affiliates who promote for them.
Well, you’ll build your list faster with a Mini Course than you will with a squeeze page that just offers a downloadable report or just going straight to a sales letter.
If you’re a product owner now, you know the money is in the list. You want to do one Mini Course per MAIN BENEFIT of your product.
Now, this is different from affiliate marketers where they’re just doing a Mini Course per product.
You’re the owner, you’re the man or the woman who owns this product, you have a vested interest in its success and so you want one Mini Course per main benefit of your product.
For example, the Directory of Ezines, we help people succeed with e-zine advertising, with article marketing, and with joint ventures, so there’s a Mini Course for each one of those.
Then you have upsells and cross-sells in the Mini Course.
You have lots of opportunities to do that very gently in the respective saying, “If you like this idea, you might also like that idea,” not the 24-second clock or, “Your head’s going to explode if you don’t buy my upsell.”
How about coaches and consultants?
This is an incredibly profitable and important industry being a coach or consultant. How can they use Mini Courses?
Well, number one, you can presell your prospects on your particular coaching or consulting process.
Every coach and consultant I know uses a different process. They are similar, but they’re different.
They are fine differences and you can presell your prospects on your process without giving away the store.
Number two, you can get them to prequalify by asking them to respond to lessons. This is a really great way to create engagement.
You put out this Mini Course and you leave an open loop.
In other words, you ask a question that’s going to be answered later but you also ask questions that only they can answer.
Where are their pain points?
Imagine this if your coach or consultant, imagine a prospect saying to you, “Here’s where it hurts. How can you help me?”
That can happen with a Mini Course!!
Of course, you can show them how to get results in advance because if you’re a coach or consultant, you know that showing a person how to go a little farther than they are now.
Maybe not all the way to their end goal, but a step further than they are now. And that will sell your coaching or consulting services powerfully!
If you can show them how to get from where they are now to where they want to be in the least amount of time with the least pain and expense, and you can show them a little bit of those results in advance, you’ve got a client.
